Drishya - Skit Competition

It is an event which will unleash the actor within you by raising some social issues or humour through the medium of a small skit.

Rules and Regulations:

• Duration: 15 Min. (+/-3Min.) (Empty stage to empty stage).
• Group size: Max. 9
• Play may be in English or Hindi.
• Max. one entry per college.
• The script should be message oriented/healthy entertaining.
• Mail your script after registration to endeavour@renaissance08.com with the subject "Script - Drishya".
• The script should be an exact replica of the play, as it will be performed.
• Any deviations without prior approval will result in disqualification.
• Five teams will be selected for the finals.
• Elimination is based on the play scripts.
• Selected script will be informed to the respective team.
• Exceeding the time limit is not permissible.
• The respective teams will be themselves responsible for arranging the necessary props required for their skits only basic props like tables/chairs will  be provided.
• Teams should report at registration desks by 2:00p.m. positively.
• Teams should bring quality CDs if required during the skit and should be submitted at the reporting time itself.
• Rehearsal slots may be provided for quick stage familiarization.
• One team members must be present to provide clues for music and lights.
• Points will be deducted for vulgarity.
• After the performance the team is requested to make the stage clean for next team.
• Foot mouse microphones will be provided.
